A Fan wrote in to 'The Oracle' at the official Coldplay site, asking whether 'The Scientist' by Coldplay would be featured on the New Moon soundtrack. In answer, The Oracle did not confirm that any specific song would be on the soundtrack, but had this to say -
"It's very likely that a Coldplay song will end up on the soundtrack to the Twilight sequel given that Stephenie Meyer has credited Coldplay, amongst others, on the inner sleeve for "being instrumental in staving off the writer's block"."
But yes if you ask e coldpay is a good band i think they would be good for the part i was looking at the lyrics of the scientist and its cute but we will se what happends
